AIESEC Global Internship Program Thank you for considering AIESEC’s Global Internship Program. Before proceeding we would like to brief you with the purpose of this internship program. With the current level of youth unemployment in the India you might be thinking about how to stand out or even how to go abroad to work. How do we run the program? We provide an internship in a host organization, through which a young person contributes to the goals of the organization, completes a job description requiring special expertise or skills, and receives supervision and evaluation on his or her professional development. Requirement: CV: To ensure that your application meets with International standards and the protocols as provided by AIESEC entities across the world send to us your CVs.   Appointment/ Information Seminar Get to know about AIESEC and the Global Internship program. Assessment Centre and Interview –Selection. Assessments through online tests and AIESEC’s Review Board will evaluate the application form in an appointment, to see if you meet the Eligibility Criteria. Contract and Administration Fees After the selection AIESEC signs a contract with you agreeing to the terms and conditions of the AIESEC experience and you are required to pay the minimum registration fee for the Global Internship Program. A form with your details is then put on our database Selection process AIESEC helps you search for the experience of your choice. This entails browsing and applying for various internships and setting up interviews. Application for VISA Once you are selected for an internship of your choice, AIESEC members help you with supporting documents and you can apply for the VISA. Preparation You would then attend a preparation seminar and receive a preparation package Internship Experience This complete the entire exchange process, as you land in the host country and commence your internship. So I'll give you some information about us.   Present in over 124 countries, AIESEC is the world's largest student-run and not-for-profit organization! Over the years, AIESEC has empowered and enabled young people to develop and explore their leadership potential. AIESEC is run by the youth, for the youth!   AIESEC impacts people throughout the globe. Let's have a look.     AIESEC's Outgoing Global Internship Program(oGIP) provides you the most intense learning experience. It gives you a chance to be exposed to the global corporate environment. You get an exclusive opportunity to be acquainted with a foreign culture and be aware of the happenings and issues prevailing in the host country. Lauer have to say about AIESEC -       The aim of an internship shall be to provide the Exchange Participant with following: A professional development experience Practical skills in a foreign environment to complement his/her education Preparation for future management responsibilities Opportunity to apply skills, attitudes and values at work and in the community Interaction with a new social and cultural environment Awareness and knowledge of social issues and different practices in the host country Interaction with social issues in the host community and country and/or territory The aim of an internship is NOT: To provide an opportunity where the sole purpose is earning money A holiday Intended to be a permanent career placement or recruitment opportunity in another country. If the organization decides to employ the trainee on a permanent basis in the host country and/or territory, AIESEC will have no role in facilitating this. A vehicle for any person to permanently leave their home country and/or territory. AIESEC does not encourage the extension of internships beyond agreed upon limits  The first thing that you need to do is upload your CV(attach it) and fill the Form.  Since we are not-for-profit organization, we charge a modest fee. The fee structure is given as:                      Time Period          Amount                      < 3 months             INR 12,000                     3 - 6 months               INR 15,000                    6 - 12 months             INR 18,000                     > 12 months             INR 21,000                               After you send us your CV, we review it. After that we'll sign a contract. During the signing, AIESEC will charge the initial fee of Rs 8,000 and take a copy of your passport. The remaining amount will be paid when you have an internship in your hand.Air-fare and visa will be on you, though we provide help with the latter. Accommodation will be provided in some cases. If not, it will be made available at subsidized rates. The salary is sufficient to cover all such expenses, and things like food and accommodation are well taken care of.   After signing the contract, your profile will be uploaded on the AIESEC network, from where we can match your skills and preferences with the requirements of hundreds of global firms on the AIESEC network. In the contract, you get to give your preferred dates, duration of stay and preferred countries. Once you are matched with a firm, an online interview will be conducted.
