OggSync Mobile contacts creates duplicate and is extreme slow. A sync
last 30 minutes or more for 1200 contacts. My unit powers off during
the sync.
Version 4.07
Setting: "Google to Outlook"
PDA PHONE: Sprint Mogul 6800

The duplicate checking will be in the next version.  We will also have an incremental sync in a later version.  1200 contacts is a lot and your first sync in 4.07 updates them all.  A second sync should be faster.

Good question, we are rethinking the merging feature as it's very likely that it will never be 100% what you want.

It may be better to "make phone look the same as google" or "make Google look the same as phone" as a feature.

This can happen with 100% certainty and is probably the more useful approach.

That feature makes great sense. What is the negative side of "make
phone look the same as google" or "make Google
look the same as phone"?
