Hi!

I just moved into the area and would love to hook up with some of the
locals around here and find out about clubs and events. I'm a 3 mile
hike from Chavez Ridge but would love to get up to Oak Grove. Problem
is my transportation situation is limited for the time being. Maybe
there's a bus that heads that way?? Any info would be a big help, I'm
jonesing for some hardcore golf!!

Hi,

I don't take the bus too often. But if you hop on the 268 Bus going to
JPL and get off on the corner of Foothill and Oak Grove/Woodbury.
Across the street of La Canada High School. It will put you at the
entrance to the Hahamonga watershed park. From there it's a walk to
the bottom of the park, hole 1 is near the backstop of the baseball
diamond. go to the metro.net website, enter your address at the start
and put JPL at the end, and it should get you there.

There's always people playing. Just show up and hop on with one of the
groups... I'm usually there early mornings 7:15 weekdays. Let me know
if you want to play.

Ah, that's awesome, thanks alot man.  I probably won't be able to get out until Tuesday but I'm sure I'll bump into you before too long.......I'm well into the golf addiction!
