Hi,

I downloaded the full OGCE (ogce-all-rc1) and completed a full build using mvn with no errors.

However, when I plan to run XBaya (ogce-xbaya/run.sh), it gives a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: edu/indiana/extreme/xbaya/XBaya. Therefore, as instructed in readme, I did an ant build (ant all) and get around 100 compile errors.

I'm running this on an Ubuntu 10.10. My Java version is OpenJdk 1.6.0_20

Please help me resolve this problem. Also please explain the purpose of having both Maven and Ant in this case.

Thank you,
Gunith

Hi Gunith,

You can use "mvn clean install" to build XBaya and it builds fine. I
will take a look at the launch shell script and get back to you later today.

Hi Gunith,

You can cd to ogce-xbaya folder and then run 'mvn clean install' to build xbaya. Its not built part of core package. You can load the hosted binary version of XBaya -http://ogceportal.iu.teragrid.org/xbaya/xbaya-dev.jnlp from here.

Thanks
Raminder
