I am writing to you with reference to your conversation with Shruti from Indian School of Business, Mohali Campus.
On behalf of Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali Campus we would like to invite you and AIESEC community to a two day workshop on 20th and 21st September. We believe NGOs in social sector play a vital role in addressing various socio-economic, cultural and political needs of India. However given the magnitude of the current and anticipated challenges in the country, there is a need for these organizations to re-examine their working context, and adopt innovative models and entrepreneurial approaches. This workshop is aimed at empowering NGOs with relevant skills helpful facing such various challenges.
Diffusion (20-21st September 2013), a one and half day workshop on NGO Management and Social Entrepreneurship conducted by The Net Impact Club at ISB. The purpose of the workshop is to instill entrepreneurial approaches in traditional NGOs to enable them to scale effectively and achieve operational efficiency. The workshop will provide a blend of case studies and lectures, encompassing various aspects such as:
· Organization Building in NGOs
· Social Innovation and Creating Sustainable Business Model
· Revenue Generation – Fund Raising
· Leveraging Technology
· Brand Building and Market Activities
· Psychology – Understanding target audience
Unconvention|L (21st September 2013) (http://unconvention.co.in/) is a half day social entrepreneurship event that is conducted by renowned Villgro Foundation dedicated to promoting social entrepreneurship, offering networks, knowledge, recognition and role models, engaging multiple stakeholders across a variety of roles, through its Unconvention|L platform. Unconvention|L is a unique event, to learn about the power of social enterprise and inspire budding social entrepreneurs, share knowledge from experts and create networking opportunities.
A detailed schedule would be sent to you shortly. A nominal fee of Rs 500/- would be charged per representation from your organization. The fee is for entire day workshop and includes lunch and high tea.
