Hi folks; as you probably know, OpenFX is joining the Academy Software Foundation. Details are still being ironed out, but you can already sign up for the new mailing list at https://lists.aswf.io/g/openfx-discussion. (You'll need to create a Linux Foundation ID if you don't have one -- it should prompt you).

There is also an official #openfx Slack channel; go to https://slack.aswf.io/ to join.

Also, Pierre (in person) and Gary (virtually) will be presenting a talk on OpenFX at SIGGRAPH, during the Open Source Days. Our session is Tuesday Aug. 9, from 11:20am to noon PDT. If you're attending SIGGRAPH, please come by and say hi! And if you're not, and would like to attend our session via zoom, please reply to me (ga...@darkstarsystems.com, not the list) and I'll send you the free registration info. I believe the session will be recorded for later viewing as well. We'll have time for a Q&A , and we'll try to answer any and all questions about OpenFX, the transition to the ASWF, and the future of the standard.
