@Chkoh8 Hi bro, how much do you pay for the BlackVue 750 with Cellink Neo upgrade? I noted currently Borneo is providing the Carnected Dual 1080P dashcam for new cars, do you do a top up in exchange for the in-house Carnected cam or need to buy the BlackVue cam then get Borneo to install at a charge. Thanks for sharing.
Done my installation with their authorized dealer Aestmod auto and my unit includes 750 2ch LTE, Cellink neo 8+, cellink extender and installation. Overall very satisfied with the installation and Blackvue 750 LTE is worth the investment with peace of mind. The installation includes hook up to fuse box for power supply but over the last 1000km, I don't have any issues with car battery nor car cam shut down. Able to monitor cellink via an app using bluetooth connection and check any over heating.

Sorry for my ignorant, as this is my first time with Toyota. I just booked a new Harrier Hybrid and my SE told me that Borneo has a few approved dashcam models. If we want to upgrade from the default ones (carnected brand), we need to get it install by Borneo mechanics to keep our new car's 5 years warranty valid. Is this correct?
@cheehbt Yes, I'm having the new harrier. Your SA will tell you any form tempering on the electrical of the car will void insurance, however with current situation where we have seen hit and run in carparks, BM offerings on their car cam is vastly inadequate and back dated. One of the thing your SA probably didn't tell you only if fault found due to the electrical tempering then BM will void the warranty, otherwise BM cannot simply void them just because of a car cam they don't offer. Guess it's due to several cars that caught fire and suspected of wiring issues on fuse box but no one can point towards faulty car cam wiring. I was in the same dilemma as you but choose to go ahead with the change but ensure it's only the authorized dealer that install for me.

Select a value to activate loop recording, so when storage is full, it will automatically overwrite the earliest video fileExposure: Adjust the exposure value to adjust the brightness of the video. To take a photo
Simply power on the camera. Long press MENU to select Photo Mode, and Press OK to take photo. Like the Video Recording Mode, you can press the Menu button once to access the setting menu for Photo Mode, Press Menu twice to enter system setting menu.Photo Mode Menu
Resolution: Set the photo resolution, up to 10 Mega Pixels available. Anti-Shaking: Turn ON/OFF the image stabilization function. Date Stamp: Enable/Disable the date and time marks in image files.
Delete: Delete the current file displayed or delete all files. Protection: Lock/Unlock the current file displayed or Lock/ Unlock all files.System Setting Menu
Press the MENU button twice to access the System Setting Menu in any mode. The TOOL icon is highlighted in the upper left corner.
LCD Brightness: Set the time to automatically turn off the LCD display after no operation.Auto Power Off: Set the time for the camera to automatically power off to save power. The camera will automatically power off when it is on standby under the setting time.

Dash cam loop recording explains when the camera continuously captures footage on a nonstop loop. This is accomplished by smart file formatting and by overwriting the oldest footage with the newest. This valuable feature can turn a standard SD memory card into an always-ready reservoir of vehicle footage.
Loop recording, also known as continuous recording, is a feature found on some dash cams that allows the device to record footage continuously and automatically overwrite the oldest footage with the newest. This feature is useful because it allows the dash cam to record indefinitely without the need for manually deleting old footage to make space for new recordings.
When the memory card on the dash cam becomes full, the dash cam will automatically delete the oldest footage to make room for the new recordings. This feature is helpful for ensuring that the dash cam is always recording and ready to capture important events, such as accidents or other incidents.
Dash cam loop recording is made possible by saving footage on the SD card in shorter fragments, such as three or five-minute segments. For instance, if you set your dash cam to record in loops of three minutes, the camera will capture footage in short three-minute clips. Each three-minute clip will be saved individually, such as:
Whenever your device has used all of the memory on the SD card, it will overwrite the oldest footage and replace it with a new three-minute clip. This design allows you to have the latest recordings without being concerned about storage capacity.
Some state-of-the-art continuous recording dash cams, such as PROOF, have accident detection and collision detection features. These cameras are equipped with intelligent algorithms that automatically detect the occurrence of accidents. Then, the camera will instinctively protect and store the accident clip to prevent it from being overwritten.
