I would like to connect multiple subnets using ofswitch13. Is there any straightforward example for this?

Let's assume the topology in ofswitch-first.cc:

24 * Learning Controller

25 * |

26 * +-----------------+

27 * Host 0 === | OpenFlow switch | === Host 1

28 * +-----------------+

If I want to have different subnets for Host0 and Host1, then how should I set up this switch or the controller?

I saw the method in here which uses a layer-3 switch for this. Do I have to install a layer-3 switch anyway?
