Camp Update: Insurance, Website, November 5th

We are at this time trying to obtain liability insurance so that we
can get a permit to continue assembling in the park. We need a $1mil
policy in order to do so. We are currently in talks with the NAACP and
they might be able to help us but we aren't 100% positive and time is
of the essence. We urge you to reach out to any not-for-profits (aside
from the NAACP) that you are able to and ask if they would be
interested in extending their insurance to our cause, or at the very
least if they know of someone that can help us do so. We have the
funds to cover any fees for filing paperwork.

We'd also like to let everyone know we added some new tools to the
website if you haven't checked it out in a while. We tied live chat in
to #occupywallstreet's chat system, added a new calendar for events,
and more. We've also added a Wepay donation link to help defray our
legal costs, even $1 would be greatly appreciated. And don't forget,
we have an entire category on the site dedicated to Local Voices, so
if you are a writer (or know one) and are interested in writing
*anything* OWS or OFM related, please drop us a line at
in...@occupyfortmyers.org.

Also, you'll note on the calendar that the daily GA's have been moved
from 8pm to 7:30pm, so please schedule accordingly if you wish to
attend. The bigger GA's on Saturday are still at noon.

On November 5th we are pushing for our biggest rally yet -- you have a
week and a half to make your signs and invite your friends! Let's fill
the park with people from all walks of life with a rainbow of
perspectives and start figuring out some solutions. We need your help!

PS - November 5th is also currently the national call to action for
moving your money out of big banks and into credit unions (preferred)
or community banks (if you must).
