General Assembly / Saturday Rally

When:   Sat, December 3, 2pm – 5pm
 
Where:  2120 Main Street 33901 (Old Court House) (map) Downtown, Fort Myers

 

Come to hear and discuss the new direction of Occupy Fort Myers and how we are getting there. We have accomplished and learned much in a short period of time.  We currently have two federal law suits against the City of Fort Myers in regards to violating our constitutional rights, helped Harry Chapin Food Bank, made some news...  but now it is time to streamline, work smarter, and perform more direct actions.

Join us this saturday and have your voices heard, please be prepared to discuss direct action events you yourself can organize and implement in the future. We also will be collecting funds for fundraising (i.e. t-shirts, stickers, signage, etc.)

We can still use help with workgroups... ask about signing up for anyone of the following groups:

Facilities, Legal, Media, Peacekeepers, Education, Direct Action, Outreach, Political Action, and Health, Wellness and Spirituality.

Saturday General Assemblies are held prior to weekly rallies, calls to action, and coordinated demonstrations.  The Saturday GA will be to hear proposals that affect the 99% and the direction we take moving forward.
