Greetings from CLLC!  

I’m writing to share details (see below) regarding the 2026 Global Citizen Summer Camp, hosted by the Center for Languages, Literatures & Cultures.

This non-residential camp (June 8–12) offers middle schoolers a unique opportunity to build intercultural competence and explore four world languages (German, Japanese, Korean & Russian) right here on OSU’s campus.

2026 Global Citizen Summer Camp 

 

Registration is now open for the 2026 Global Citizen Summer Camp at OSU’s (Columbus campus) from June 8–12, 2026. Rising 6th–8th graders will be exposed to four world languages (German, Japanese, Korean & Russian) and build essential skills in intercultural competence. Through a variety of interactive and age-appropriate activities, students are taught to step outside their comfort zone and gain a deeper understanding of what it means to belong to and navigate within multiple and diverse cultural groups. 

• Cost: $200 (Sibling discounts & need-based scholarships available)
