These are some gifts for your teachers.

La Cruz del Diablo is a short story by Gustavo Alfonso Bécquer for Spanish teachers. The summary could be read by level 2. The complete version with glossing and notes is for upper levels. OWLA teachers are free to use this pre-publication version if they will give me some feedback on it.

Julius Caesar is an embedded reading for Latin teachers. It includes 10 famous quotes by or about Caesar. I have used this recently in multilevel classes with great success. Even if teachers do not read Latin this will be a helpful model for writing an embedded reading.

OWLA members are free to use both of these.
