Dear OWLA Chinese-Teaching Colleagues,
If you know of any students or other individuals who might be interested in pursuing a career as a Chinese language teacher, please share the information below with them about the Taiwan-ACTFL Future Educator Scholarship Program. For this program, ACTFL partners with the Ministry of Education in Taiwan to provide U.S. citizens with the Taiwan-ACTFL Future Educator Scholarship, which serves to develop American Mandarin Chinese teachers. See the message below and click on the link for additional information. Note that the program will award up to 20 scholarships to deserving applicants.

I would like to share information regarding the Taiwan-ACTFL Future Educator Scholarship.
- This scholarship supports future language educators in teaching Mandarin Chinese as a second language. Specifically, it includes the one-year Huayu Enrichment Scholarship for Mandarin Chinese learning in Taiwan, followed by a four-year Taiwan Scholarship for pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or a two-year scholarship for a master’s degree focused on Mandarin Chinese teaching in Taiwan.
