Subject: FRIT 8302 course option in Spring 2026 at Ohio State

Hello,

My name is Matt Lang. I am the academic coordinator in the Department of French and Italian at Ohio State. I wonder if you could send the attached flyer and information below to Ohio French teachers? This course option with Professor Wong is a good one for continuing education credit since it is a distance and asynchronous option.

FRIT 8302: Topics in Second Language Acquisition on the theme Input Processing, Structured Input, and Grammar Instruction. The course is fully asynchronous and open to secondary school teachers.

Assignments and projects can be adapted to individual teaching contexts, and participants will explore research-based approaches to grammar instruction that can be applied directly to their classrooms. More details are available in this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXzu2FJFtP8

Thank you for helping spread the word!

Copying Professor Wong in case you have any questions about the course or need more information. Interested teachers can reach out to her directly at wong...@osu.edu

Thanks,

Matt

I took this course. It is amazing! Dr. Wynne Wong is possibly the best professor I've ever had.

This course is taught in English, and it is for speakers of all languages! I took it as an ESL Teacher, and found it extremely beneficial in teaching English and understanding SLA.
