Haitian Creole courses in Summer 2026

Dear all,

Thanks to the success and impact of Kickstart Kreyòl: Introduction to Haitian Language and Culture in Summer 2025, the Center for Latin American Studies at The Ohio State University is pleased to announce we will be continuing this initiative in Summer 2026. 

The schedule for virtual classes this summer is:

Kickstart Kreyòl 1: July 7-30 (Tuesday and Thursday, 5-6PM)
Kickstart Kreyòl 2: July 1-29 (Wednesday, 5-6:30PM)

The course is free and open to all individuals 18 and over. You do not need to be affiliated with Ohio State to participate. Teachers can receive CEUs for actively participating in this course.
