• High School Spanish Immersion Day at Wright State University on Oct. 28.
• High School French Immersion Day at The Ohio State University on Nov. 3

World Language Resources and Opportunities Standards and Resources for World Languages and Cultures Ohio world language educators are invited to explore the Department's instructional resources that support implementation of Ohio's World Languages and Cultures proficiency-based learning standards. Educators can access the materials through three pathways: by proficiency level, by language, or through the Model Curriculum. Spanish and French Immersion Days for Language Learners Wright State Spanish Immersion Day, Oct. 28. Registration. Wright State University invites high school Spanish students and teachers to their annual Immersion Day on Oct. 28, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. This event is open to students enrolled in Spanish 3 or above. Ohio State French Immersion Day, Nov. 3. Save the Date! The Ohio State University is hosting their first annual French Immersion Day for high school French students and teachers on Nov. 3, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Event details and the registration link are being finalized and will be sent out soon. Professional Learning Opportunities The Ohio State University Professional Learning Series The French Center of Excellence and the East Asian Studies Center have announced the dates for their autumn events. Additional events will be added throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.
