OWLA Mentorship Program

Hi OWLA Members,

The Beginning Teacher Committee would like to establish a mentorship program to connect beginning teachers with OWLA world language mentors, either in person or virtually. 

If you are a teacher with more than five years experience who would be interested in being paired with a beginning teacher or if you are a beginning teacher with less than five years experience who would like to be paired with an OWLA mentor, please contact Megan Helgeson, Beginning Teacher Committee Chair, at beginnin...@owlaohio.org. 

Guidelines for the mentor-mentee program will be established and shared once people have signed up, but at the minimum, it will include monthly communication between the mentor and mentee for questions, advice, etc. Mentors must be an OWLA member to participate.
