Hello, OWLA Colleagues! 

See the information below about a PD day at Wapakoneta High School: 

I am excited to invite you to Wapakoneta High School on Wednesday, August 5th from 9AM to 3PM. This event is FREE to attend, and you will receive a certificate of attendance for 6 contact hours for the day. I am so excited to connect with you all! Register using this link. 

Here is a tentative schedule: 

9:00 AM: Workshop - Beyond the Textbook: High Engagement Strategies for the Proficiency Classroom 

12:00: Lunch - Please respond to your lunch choice in the Google Form

1:00 PM: Roundtable conversation + collaboration (see Google Form) 

2:00 PM: Mini Workshop - The Grammar Connection: Teaching Grammar for Proficiency 

I will stay after 3:00 pm with anyone who would like to discuss specific topics or would like to do a demo/practice on a strategy they learned during the day, or if you just want to do a little extra planning and collaborating!
