The lyrics speak of a passionate love that will last a lifetime despite the mishaps it may suffer, the deep feeling conveyed by this song quickly made it one of the highest grossing songs in its year of release.
It turns out that, unlike the previous ones, Entre dos Aguas is an entirely instrumental flamenco rumba. That is to say, no one sings, nor is there any need to, because the magic of the master Paco de Lucia on the strings is such that it makes our hair stand on end just with the good work of his fingers on the guitar.
Both the voice and the depth of the lyrics reflect his flamenco roots, yet the hit managed to transcend its genre, being considered both a flamenco and a Spanish pop hit. Even today it is still common to hear it on radio stations throughout Spain.
Bohemian Nights, Navajita Plate (1998)is one of the most listened flamenco songs nowadays and one of the singles that have managed to keep the art of flamenco alive, transferring it to the new generations.
Although both the broken voice and the sound of his guitar are pure flamenco essence, it is a hit that even the detractors of the genre love, uniting us all to the beat of a beautiful song, what more could you ask for?
However, in the flamenco scene, it is already known who was in the lead in those years, so in 1953 the song was included in a film of the same name starring Lola Flores, who covered it with such artistry that this version became the most famous of the single.

bit of a weird request here. i checked my most listened songs with a third party site and the top two tracks are awful, only got there because my ex with horrible taste kept playing them. i'm one of those people that obsesses over spotify wrapped, so how do i prevent those songs from appearing in my top tracks on wrapped? (i'm not talking about a playlist or anything i'm talking about removing them from my top listens altogether like... removing spotify's knowledge of how much i listened to them LOL)
if the answer is to loop good stuff that's already pretty listened to, is there any way i could finesse the algorithm to expedite that process? for reference i looped my third most listened song all night last night and it didn't move up the list, so i feel like spotify's algorithm might be messing with my plan.
Also - based off last year's Wrap timeline - the window for collecting your listening info would already be closed (late October). You can read about 2018's process here if you'd like.
So even if you were to try and boost some new songs this last month - it probably won't make an impact for this pass. Unfortunately, there also isn't a way to erase any of your prior listening history without starting a fresh account.
From what I've seen though, Wrapped can always be a little different each year so here's hoping you will be pleasantly surprised!
You might have the most impressive pipes in the whole of your city. You might sound like a strangled cat when you sing, especially after a few drinks. But whatever your range and ability, you will take to the stage for one of these karaoke songs. And it will be brilliant.
Choosing the right song is crucial. If you can't sing in tune, perhaps opt for a rap. If you want to show off that high range, potentially opt for a bit of Whitney. In our list of the best karaoke songs ever, we've got everyone from Madonna to Lizzo, and from Toto to Frank Sinatra. Take a shot and warm up those vocal chords, people. These are the best karaoke songs ever.
That riff, a cross between a sitar and a revving dirt bike, is the most recognizable thing about the song. For such a ubiquitous hit, the lyrics continually surprise beyond the titular chorus. So much so that when Cat Power covered the tune in 2000, slicing off the refrain, it was a strange new poem about the anxiety of commercials and subliminal advertising. This from the first rock band to develop a brand logo, a pair of juicy red lips.
If you're a music fan, you've probably had this conversation before: "What are the greatest songs of all time?" It's a question that's been debated for decades, and there are as many answers as there are people who love music. But now, a computer scientist from Goldsmiths University has tried to answer it once and for all.
Time is also the reason why nowadays teenagers haven't heard about iconic singers such as Ray Charles or Dolly Parton. Probably, if the case study were re-run, Taylor Swift with her "Shake It Off" hit or Pharrell Williams with his "Happy" song would be highly listed. And very likely is that in the future, the list will be updated with the current popular artists and top songs. But that doesn't mean that Micheal Jackson with his Billie Jean title track or John Lennon's "Imagine" melody will be forgotten. These are, definitely one of the most popular tracks that will stay with us forever.

Throughout 1980s there was a renaissance occurring within music, one which stretched throughout all genres be it pop, rock, electronica or hip-hop. The fact so many world renowned artists and hit songs came out of the decade speaks to the artistic phenomenon that was taking place at the time. Since the 1980s there has arguably not been another decade that has had the same drastic amount of innovation across all music genres.
A common way to recognize intervals is to associate them with reference songs that you know well. For example, the song Amazing Grace begins with a perfect fourth. So when you hear an interval that sounds like the 2 first notes of Amazing Grace, you know instantly that it's a Perfect 4th.
Song lists are great, Ear Training is even better!
Using famous songs to memorize intervals is an easy way to memorize intervals, but that method has limits. At some point, you will need to recognize intervals instantly, almost instinctively. This can only be achieved with Ear Training.
