There seems to be some type of issue with the married for money mini scenario that pops up randomly within gameplay. When choosing the "money money money" option, aka the one that then forces you to find someone to marry within 7 days, it doesn't actually count down the 7 days correctly and instead seems to fast forward the allotted time. At first I thought I had just lost track of time the first time I noticed it happened with a sim, but this time around I specifically did the math of what day my sim would have to be married by (a Tuesday), and then saw on Saturday that it was now listed at 15 hours remaining to get married. Then suddenly the tense moodlet that had the countdown disappeared altogether when switching between sims within the same household even though there should still be at least 14 hours remaining; a fact I came across when I noticed the sims 'advanced werebies' countdown initially matched up to the tense moodlet when they both read 15 hours remaining. All-in-all I'm just confused why the countdown is completely inaccurate and seems to have been so for a while now. I can't say for sure if this has been an issue from the first time it was introduced to the game (I believe it was around the time that eco-lifestyle came out) because when I came across it the first time around I simply had my sim get married asap, but now for storyline purposes I've attempted to drag it out a little only to lose out on it completely. If anyone has any information or has experienced the same thing and found a solution, it would be greatly appreciated so that I could go back to playing the game at the pace I'd prefer for gameplay convenience's sake. Thanks.

I did so and I think the problem problem lies in finalizing my marriage. What I mean is after getting married using the pack and returning home, I can plan my wedding again and exchange vows even though the game says my Sims are husband and wife.
I encountered this as well, but without MWS installed. My 2 sims got married at the Romance festival and when it started, my sim still had the tense moodlet with about 7 hours left. The wedding happened and no money was issued. It's not a big loss for this couple, but I was a little disappointed. I thought I'd finally get the chance to see it happen and the game said nah, not this time.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Seasons, Realm of Magic, Journey to Batuu, Tiny living, Nifty Knitting
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy a sim the CAREFREE reward trait with satisfaction points. Then that sim needs to receive the phonecall that offers them inheritance money, but I don't know how to force that event. In any case, when the phonecall comes select "Yes, money, gimme, gimme" from the replies. Don't ask for conditions of the inheritance. Next marry another sim within seven days of getting the phonecall.
What happens when the bug occurs? Normally when a sim accepts the inheritance they get a Tense moodlet that lasts seven days and serves as a timer. Since my sim can never get tense, this timer never started. The sim married the same day, but didn't get any money.
What do you expect to see? To get a moodlet that tells me how many days I have left to marry and to receive the inheritance money after marrying/eloping. If a sim cannot get TENSE, they should maybe get a FINE moddlet instead or a hidden trait.

Additional information: I've had other sims get the inheritance phonecall and everything was working without problems. Only the one sim with the Caerefree trait had this issue, so I'm very certain that this trait is the culprit.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy the carefree reward trait with satisfaction points. Get the phone call about a random inheritance left specifically to you. Select "Yes, money, gimme, gimme" from the replies. Marry another sim within 7 sim days of getting the call. I did this within 3 sim days and still did not get any money.
What happens when the bug occurs? Normally when a sim accepts the inheritance they get a Tense moodlet that lasts seven days and serves as a timer. Since my sim can never get tense, this moodlet never appeared. When the sim gets married within the stated time frame, you do not get any money.
What do you expect to see? To get the money when you marry within the given timeframe. Maybe instead of a tense moodlet, it could be a fine moodlet if the sim has the reward trait. Having it be hidden from the sim would be inconvenient.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No, removed them all. Deleted cache files and started a new save.
