News article today (3/28/12). Battle Royale was a 2000 Japanese movie
about 42 teens fighting to the death, twelve years before Hunger
Games. It's now being released in four-DVD and Blue-ray sets. Was
based on a Japanese novel; I wonder if there's been a comic version.
I plan to wait a bit, then watch and/or search for images online. I
remember hearing at the time that it may have included beheadings.
Anybody else have recollections of this?
