Masukan lagi menambahi mas Samsul, selain maintenance yang perlu juga spare part yang kita gunakan harus berkualitas atau original. Dengan melihat history nya sudah diganti T-Yoke untuk silindernya perlu sekali dilihat apakah sparepart nya original sehingga performance kembali seperti semula. Karena hasil investigasi kok menyatakan kurang sempurnanya pembakaran dicombution chamber. Selain itu perlunya data hasil komisioning awal sebagai pembanding performance apabila telah dilakukan overhaul.

Inilah dilema nya PML (Maintenance)..seringkali kita dihadapkan pada kondisi sebuah engine yg harusnya sudah masuk waktu service, tp akibat operasional yg tdk dapat diganggu (tdk ada stby unit) maka seringkali berbenturan antara operasi dengan PML. Biasanya, management akan mengambil keputusan agar terus dioperasikan agar tdk mengganggu produksi atau pengiriman fluida ke konsumen. Ini yg menurut saya tidak tepat. Karena pasti suatu saat itu engine akan sekarat dan mati / off, terganggu juga operasionalnya. Salah satunya terjadi dikapal ini, Di kejadian tsb salah satu dugaan penyebabnya krn engine tdk dirawat dgn baik / dioperasikan terus.
Inilah Pentingnya Pemeliharaan…..
