October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, share resources, and stand in support of survivors.

The Seventh District has shared weekly Domestic Violence Awareness facts throughout the month to help raise awareness and promote community education.

It takes a little longer for some victims to actually seek help, often an average of 2.3 years.  

Take Action: Save the hotline number 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) — you never know when someone may need it.
