MPD Makes Arrest in Northeast Assault
(Washington, D.C.) – The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest of a suspect involved in an assault that occurred in Northeast.
On Monday, September 8, 2025, at approximately 3:47 p.m., the victim and suspect were involved in a parking dispute in the 100 block of 42nd Street, Northeast. The suspect brandished a handgun and pointed it in the victim’s direction. The suspect fled the scene. The victim was uninjured.
On Monday, September 22, 2025, members from the Violent Crime Suppression Division and Sixth District located the suspect and placed him under arrest. 34-year-old Dashon Williams, of Southeast, DC, was charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
