MPD Outreach Has Moved to a New Email Platform

The Metropolitan Police Department is no longer using Google Groups to share community outreach information. We have transitioned all outreach communications to the subscription-based GovDelivery platform.

GovDelivery allows users to create an account and easily subscribe to MPD community outreach updates, along with several other MPD notification categories, including:

·         MPD News Releases (news releases, statements, traffic advisories)

·         MPD Missing Person Alerts

·         Preliminary Crime and Arrest Reports (with subscriptions for all seven MPD Police Districts)

ACTION

If you previously received messages through this MPD Google Group, you will automatically be added to the new GovDelivery community outreach email list. No action is required to continue receiving updates. If you have previously opted out of receiving GovDelivery communications from the DC government, you will need to opt in again to resume receiving messages.

If you wish to continue receiving Preliminary Arrest and Crime Reports, or any other email messaging from the MPD, please note that we have multiple subscription channels and each subscription and must be selected individually at signup.

If you do not wish to continue receiving community outreach updates, you may manage your subscription preferences at any time through the GovDelivery Subscriber Page using your email address to log in. For questions or support, visit https://subscriberhelp.govdelivery.com.
