We have encouraged contests on those dates to be moved to another date. Thanks for sharing the message.

Hi, Barry,

Saw this from Carol Wayman, Past President of Capital Toastmasters 1, to Justin Druke, the current Area 32 Governor.

Thought it was of general interest, especially to the District leadership, and so am sharing with you.

Take care.

Jim

Hi Justin,

I noted that some Areas are having contests on Yom Kippur, October 7-8.

That means Jewish members cannot participate.

Just thought you should know and maybe encourage them to change the date.

as for our contest, is there any specific way you want the room set up?

Thanks,

Carol

Thanks Jim. Yom Kippur is a big holiday to try to avoid.
