Unlike lesser strip-cut models that only obscure information minimally and become clogged easily, this commercial shredder chews through 16 sheets of paper at one time and completely destroys CDs and credit cards. The shredder's two steel counter-rotating, cross-cutting gears cut paper into 1/8" x 1" parallelogram-shaped, unrecognizable shreds. Credit cards and CDs are cut into pieces impossible to reassemble or decipher, and the receptacle is easily accessed and emptied via the cabinet door. An LCD notifies users when the 7 3/4-gallon bin is full. With auto-start/stop and reverse.
