Kim - I just finished your excellent book, The Kept Girl. Great fun! You certainly know your Los Angeles history. Quick question - you guys had the Sunday Salon for a while but stopped because you couldn't find a place downtown to meet. What about Clifton's ? Just a thought. Those salons' were very entertaining.

So glad you enjoyed the book, George!
We do hope to bring the LAVA Sunday Salons back when we can secure a location that works for such a large and attentive group. Stay tuned, and in the mean time, you can see videos of most of the past Salons on our YouTube channel, here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLum68xAGApT6cMZv3MvYo6NkzClp335cu

And belatedly, I'm pleased to announce the return of the LAVA Sunday Salon and Broadway on My Mind walking tour series, both free, now located in the basement of Grand Central Market.
We're taking reservations, and the May Sunday Salon with Nathan Marsak speaking on old Bunker Hill has already filled up. You're welcome to sign up for the waiting list, and I believe there are a few spots still available on the walking tour. To stay informed about events like these before they fill up, subscribe to the Esotouric newsletter (http://eepurl.com/baVxhP).
