Subject: TAKE ACTION: Stop Big Oil from delaying Keystone XL's rejection

President Obama must reject now, with no more delays!
Explore. Enjoy. Protect.
Big Oil wants to prevent President Obama from rejecting Keystone XL.

Take action today to make sure they don't succeed.

Take action!
Take action!
Dear Matilda,

Incredible. TransCanada -- the company behind Keystone XL -- is trying to get President Obama to delay his final decision on the pipeline!

After so many years spent hectoring the president for taking "too long" to evaluate this pipeline, Big Oil wants a last-minute timeout. Why?

It's because they know that Keystone XL fails the president's climate test, and that it's only a matter of time before he rejects KXL once and for all.
We can't let these transparent delay tactics prevail. Now -- just weeks after our victory in the Arctic -- is the perfect time for President Obama to again demonstrate his climate leadership by rejecting Keystone XL.

Take action: Urge President Obama to reject Big Oil's delay tactics, and reject the Keystone XL pipeline once and for all!

President Obama has made it clear that Keystone XL can't be in our national interest -- and thus must be rejected -- if it significantly increases carbon pollution and makes climate change worse. And the EPA has already advised the president that KXL would do just that.

That's why Big Oil is resorting to desperate delay tactics to try to keep President Obama from following through on his pledge. They're cynically hoping that if they delay long enough, they might be able to get the next president to do what this president hasn't: choose Big Oil over the health and safety of future generations.

Big Oil has demanded an answer on Keystone XL for over six years, and it's time they get their answer. Tell President Obama it's time to reject KXL once and for all!

Big Oil wouldn't be trying these last-minute tricks if they didn't see the writing on the wall. It shows how far we've come in a fight that Big Oil said we couldn't win. Let's prove them wrong one last time.

Thanks for protecting our climate and our future,

Michael Brune
