Hey Matilda,

We have had an amazing year for climate change. So, it is time to party. Thanks for your help and the help of the Montgomery County Volunteers who helped to let the powers that be that we needed these bills passed.  I don't have the contact information for the others in Montgo OFA who have participated in this effort. I really hope that you all can join us.  A carpool from Montgo (like the one for the Council on Climate Change hearing last summer) would be so appreciated, so that we can thank you in person.

Need to know who is coming, but unfortunately the RSVP below is not working - Can you RSVP to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1fglWPL0zTfk8GI9AWfYPK6pkEFQTAZV3HDU-NAwlUmk/viewform it is driving me a little nuts.
It is not so often that we have this kind of a success.  Time to take joy in it, for ourselves and for all the rest of Maryland.

It's time for a celebration!

The 2016 session was huge for climate action within Maryland and Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties played a crucial role in that success.

Join us as we celebrate the passage of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Act and the Clean Energy Jobs Act.

This could not have been done without an invested community - our volunteers, many of our Maryland Town Councils, and the General Assembly in Annapolis - coming together to help move this legislation forward.

Join us for food and drink as we thank the legislators, advocates, and volunteers who made this a historic year!

When: May 5th at 7pm
Where: Suitland Community Center
5600 Regency Lane, District Heights, MD

RSVPs requested. Legislative staff are welcome to attend.

Best,
Susan Ungar

When Governor Hogan signed the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Act and placed Maryland among the foremost states addressing climate change, we knew it was time for a Party!
