Senior Digital Executive Job Description
The position is full-time and remote. We are looking for someone who can help develop a dynamic and cost-effective program to help progressive candidates and causes. We will be formalizing benefits in the coming weeks. This position will be part of a core executive team that will make decisions on accounts and with the firm.
This position will require someone who can learn quickly and adapt to an ever-changing political environment, is passionate about progressive issues has strong writing and communication skills, and is motivated to grow and thrive in the digital campaign space.
Responsibilities
- Work with the firm to grow our digital portfolio and digital department.
- Draft, build and load emails and/or social media content on various platforms in order to achieve client goals
- Create and produce content for online advertising campaigns and social media.
- Collaborate with team members to monitor and report on program performance and goal
- Identify opportunities to apply new digital platforms, tools, and techniques in order to communicate with targeted audiences
- Take part in client calls and communications, and think creatively about increasing value for any given client digital program
Required skills and experience
- Experience writing, managing, and executing email programs for political campaigns and/or progressive nonprofit organizations
- 1-2 election cycles of political fundraising experience
- Very strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Thrive working with diverse teams and clients
- Excellent communicator comfortable working with a distributed team in different time zones
- Ability to use tools of a modern office (i.e. Google Docs, Slack, Zoom)
- Understands social media and how to create content for different platforms
- Ability to manage many different projects and provide deliverables on time
- Commitment to progressive causes and issues, and knowledge of current political events
Nice to have, but not required
- Fluent in Spanish language and strong Spanish translation skills
- A sense of humor and a need to be creative
- Familiarity with CRM and CMS systems, especially NGP/EveryAction, Action Network, and WordPress
- Direct experience or familiarity with digital advertising platforms
- Basic graphic design
- HTML/CSS basics
