Hi Everybody,

Since we all aren't able to gather in DC this year for the Inaugural Balls, Farah and I are putting together a virtual toast for the OFA-IA crew in between the official online events (and before Tom Hanks). Zoom Details are below, BYOB, all OFA-IA alums, friends, and family are welcome.

Also, Jeanette's father Frank wanted me to pass along a message to the entire IA crew. The email is below as well.

Best wishes to everyone starting tomorrow in the Biden-Harris Administration - don't forget the Lysol!!! Hope to see you all tomorrow.

Forward,
Tashi

Message from Frank Acosta:

Dear Tashi,

Thank you for letting me join you and your friends from the Iowa Obama team on your Zoom meeting two weeks ago.

I was greatly moved by the memories of Jeanette shared by all of you. Your friendships and shared efforts were highly valued by Jeanette. She felt a powerful connection with all of you.

Please thank the Obama alums for their kindness and thoughtfulness in remembering Jeanette. I shared this special experience with my wife, Maryann, and with my son, Robert.

My best to you, the Obama alums, and to your family.

Sincerely yours,

Frank

Frank X. Acosta, Ph.D.

Thanks to everyone who joined our inaugural toast yesterday! We will definitely do another zoom reunion in the spring, maybe around the 100-day mark.

Yesterday was a big day for the IA gang too! Congrats to Irene and Girma on their marriage!
Aaaaand, huge congratulations to Farah (D-IA), who started as a key Presidential appointee in the Biden-Harris Administration!! Press release below!

Forward,
Tashi
