You're Invited: A Conversation On Voting Rights with David Litt, Marc Elias, and Marina Jenkins

Obama Alumni across the country are invited for a virtual conversation and Q&A with David Litt (former POTUS speechwriter), Marc Elias (chair of Perkins Coie's political law group), and Marina Jenkins (Director of Litigation and Policy at the National Democratic Redistricting Foundation). 

They'll be discussing David's new book, Democracy in One Book Or Less: How It Works, Why It Doesn't, and Why Fixing It Is Easier Than You Think. 

With long voting lines threatening elections in Georgia and around the country, and voter suppression more widespread than ever, they'll be focusing on the past, present, and future of voting rights. Marc and Marina brief alumni on their work - and on what we can do to help protect access to the ballot in November and beyond.
