It is great to see that the US government is also getting behind
sharing education and training materials. A condition of receiving a
grant under a new US$2 billion dollar initiative for community
colleges and career training programs is that all of the materials
produced must be made available under a Creative Commons Attribution
(CC BY) license. This should encourage even more
reuse/remixing/recontextualising and provides another nudge to think
about how educational materials can (should? :-) be shared.
