Are there any plans to upgrade the OERbit platform to Drupal 7?

Hi James,
Thanks for your interest. At this time, we do not have plans for
upgrading to Drupal 7.

Do you have any idea on the effort that would be required to migrate to Drupal 7? Our research institute (iMinds - http://www.iminds.be/en) is launching a new program to support OER and could consider to contribute to the migration effort.

Hello Frank,

We really haven't sized the effort. There are several custom modules which would require updating. I haven't looked to see which of the contrib modules that we use are, or are not, available in D7.
