Hi,

I'm a member of the UM Postdoc Association and we're thinking of using
the OER package for our new web design. Just curious on how easy it is
to add other modules that's available on the Drupal.org site?
Thanks!

Dear Sean,

Thanks for looking at OERbit. The current OERbit distribution is intended as a standalone publishing system for educational content and includes a full install of the current stable version of Drupal. You can install any Drupal module into OERbit.

If you'd like to play with OERbit and see if it fits your intended use, please feel free to check out the demonstration information on our wiki at https://open.umich.edu/wiki/OERbit#OERbit_Demo where we have a short video covering OERbit's main features and you can download a ready to run version for Macintosh or Windows.

Hope this helps.
Ali
