Open-Site is edited by volunteer editors and accepts content
submissions from the public. Open-Site's content is freely available to
the public. Feel free to contribute to the project.
Open Site is an online collaboration of over a thousand volunteer
editors from every continent who work together to create a useful
information database on the internet. Editors each edit in different
areas in which they have a strong interest and knowledge. Public domain
sources are also used to expand and improve the database.

The aim of the project, set out in the The Open Site Contract, is to
create an online information source on a structure based on that of the
Open Directory Project that is available for others to use on their
websites with the correct attribution.

The OEP allows you to:

1. Discuss. Join in discussions at the Open Site Public Forum on a
variety of topics, including aspects of Open Site.

2. Contribute. Anyone is able to submit anything at the Open Site
Encyclopedia by using the "submit content" link at the top of pages. We
accept content submissions on almost any topic.

3. Become an editor. Joining our team of volunteer editors is an
enjoyable and rewarding experience. Nobody gets paid to work on this
project but that has never stopped anyone from enjoying it.
