There is some discussion (as there has been since the beginning) that
October 31st may not be the best day for the next event. There has
also been some talk of having the event on November 1st. This is a
Sunday. I have been told by three people they cannot do the 31st. I
have not pinged these people yet about the 1st, but all three should
be on one of these two lists. I have no problems with the event being
on a Sunday. I think not having it the same day as everyone else
would be a bit of a downer, but so would having it without those that
have told me they cannot do the 31st. I'm also not thrilled about
moving to November, because it breaks our bi-monthly schedule, but we
could have two in Nov/Dec or skip Sept/Oct...wouldn't be the end of
the world.

What are your thoughts?

Having gotten exactly zero responses about this via the two lists, I
decided to make a survey:

Looks like I'm going to be halfway to MKE tomorrow, so if some of you
MKE people want to have an impromptu meeting tomorrow, my number is
919-360-0306. If any of the MKE people want to have a Software
Freedom Day event, I'm going to be getting supplies and I don't know
if Madison is going to use them all. The date of Software Freedom Day
is September 19th.

Isn't Sept 19th talk like a pirate day. As well?
