In my attempt to switch email addresses, I got bounces when I tried to send this out before, except I think to OEMad.  I have new information though, so I'm sending to OEMad again.

The additional info I'd like to share with everyone is that if you are a musician or know a musician, you can submit songs to our show through SoundCloud: http://soundcloud.com/groups/music-manumit/dropbox.  If you drop a song, please let us know the license, as we only accept Creative Commons music that can be remixed (aka no -ND).  We do accept -NC.  Please spread the word!

Here's a slightly edited version of what I sent before:

Tom Ray (of Lorenzo's Music) and I have started a new podcast called Music Manumit.  We'll be doing a music-only and a music news podcast every week.  We're releasing them at http://musicmanumit.blogspot.com.  The first episode is up and if you want the raw flac for the *pilot* show, I can get you at least my side pretty easily because it's shared on Dropbox.

We have an IRC channel on freenode: #musicmanumit.  For now, I'm ustreaming the live shows (9pm Central) at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/madlug-ubuntu-release-party.  I need to change the URL but the first time I used UStream was for the release party, so that's what I did then.

We have both ogg and mp3 formats.  We're trying to grow freedom and the people that need to be reached are people using mp3s.  It pains both Tom and I but it's a necessary evil, I think.

Lastly, we welcome your feedback.  We're just getting started and I've never done a podcast before, so I could use some help!
