Why not OpEv? It is very short, almost looks like "open" as well as op-ed and that's probably a good conotation to link to subconciously as well as a subbrand for personal essays about open everythingnesa . And I think with short abbreviations people tend to pronounce things subvocally and ending things with a V sound should differentiate things pretty good from other ideas.

I thought the same thing, but when limited to 140 char, three makes a big difference!

Conveys a lot more than #oe. I have a hard enough time keeping it under 140 char (which is why I use http://280.status.net/douglasawh these days), I suppose when I'm going for the double I can use #openeverything. It will be a glorious day when omb can split the longer posts into two.
I won't add any aliases to the identi.ca group so there isn't any fractionation. Open∞ would be nice. The great thing about the group is that if people are curious about 'oe' can click on the '!oe' group indicator and get more info about the group.
Also, the group went unmanaged before they got federated groups working on omb, so there was a bunch of spam. I think I blocked all the people that were spamming it, but let me know if someone else starts. You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Everything Discuss" ...

#OpEv works for me. Though I admit to being just as likely to use #open
