So, this isn't off-topic. I was thinking tonight about groups we
haven't yet really reached in the 1st two events and I think it's safe
to say the Latino community is one of them. I don't really have any
good ideas for reaching out, but I thought someone else might.

Just in case it's not obvious, open access allows translations while
restrictive licensing doesn't, so the benefits of "open" to a
non-native English speaker in the US should be pretty clear. It's not
just the case for Spanish speakers, but the are by-far and away the
highest minority language in the US:
