Dear family and friends,

I am very sad to announce that my father passed away peacefully at around 10:17 PM last night at the age of 88.

My mother has expressed interest in a cremation with a memorial service at some point in the future.

Thank you for all the thoughts, prayers and support.

Dad's funeral service mass has been set for Monday Dec 5 at 10:00AM.
Blessed Trinity Church
3220 Bayview Ave.,  (Bayview Ave. north of Finch Ave.)

A reception in the adjoining reception hall at Blessed Trinity 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM-ish with light lunch will be served


Internment of the ashes will be at 2:00 PM
At St. Mary's Cemetery
2099 Dickson Road, (west of HWY 10 / Hurontario and QEW area; along Premium Way)
Port Credit, Mississauga

        We pray to God that Oom Poo Giap's funeral service mass and reception can be held well on Monday Dec 5.

Four mass intentions for the RIP of Oom Poo Giap's soul and the strengthening of his Family were already announced by the Priest in the mass at St. Antonius Church Kotabaru Jogja on Nov 13, Nov 28, Dec 2 (1st Friday mass) and Dec 4.

        May GOD always bless all of you.

N.B.: We sent a With Deepest Condolences e-card on Nov 10 by e-mail. We hope that Iek Yong, Chris and Family have already received it. Sorry, there was something trouble with the laptop at that time.

Hello everyone,

So much overwhelming love and support from all. So many condolences and well wishes. I was terrific seeing all the people who could make it. Those that couldn't make it because of scheduling conflicts, etc/ sent their their thoughts and prayers as well, which we all appreciated very much.
