Can anyone help me to analyse this statement from 'Reflections on the
Revolution in France' by Edmund Burke:

"Kings will be tyrants from policy when subjects are rebels from
principle."

The full text can be found at:

http://www.constitution.org/eb/rev_fran.htm

and various other places on the interweb.

The quotation comes from a passage where Burke defends monarchy by
stating that usurpers who sweep aside ancient forms of government by
force will have to maintain their new power with the same means as
they came to power. Specifically, Burke was thinking of the aftermath
of the French revolution but the idea could be reused in other times
and places.

How might this statement be modelled using drama theory? What dilemmas
are found? Does drama theory throw any new light on this?
