Subject: Instrumentation facility at JNCASR
To:

Greetings from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research
(JNCASR) – a premier R&D institute and a Deemed University, under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

Under the DST supported Technical Research Center (TRC) of JNCASR, following facilities/instruments are made available for use by the research community outside JNCASR:

1. Nanoscribe Photonic Professional GT uses Two-Photon Polymerization (2PP) to produce filigree structures of nearly any 3D shape: crystal lattices, porous scaffolds, naturally inspired patterns, smooth contours, sharp edges, undercuts, and bridges are all possible.
Nanoscribe's 3D printers support cutting-edge research in over 30 countries. More than 550 pioneering research projects prove the powerful manufacturing and design capabilities of this technology. Nanoscribe's 3D printer has really opened doors to new research areas. You can build unique 3D devices with a submicron resolution very easily, that's the biggest advantage of this tool.

2. Transmission Electron Microscopy JEOL JEM 2100 PLUS offers high-resolution imaging and analysis solution for life science, material science, nanotechnology, semiconductor, data storage, and related research areas.

3. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy Zeiss Gemini 500 with EDS unit for ultra-high resolution imaging of conducting, non-conducting, and magnetic samples in the form of metallic non-metallic ceramic, crystals, thin-film, polymer, metal oxides, bio-materials of micro to nanoscale dimension ( coated/uncoated), to name a few.

Attached is a brochure with details of the above-mentioned facilities, Scientific Articles.

We will be happy to help the research community in your organization to leverage these facilities. We further request you to circulate this information among your collaborators.
