Dear ELLS representatives,

I would like to inform you that we decided to extend the deadline for abstract submission for the ELLS Scientific Student Conference until 30 June 2016.
Until yesterday 73 abstracts have been submitted:
BOKU: 17
CULS: 15
LU: 2
SCIENCE: 6
SLU: 6
UHOH: 16
WULS: 6
WUR: 5

I would kindly ask all of you, but particularly those of the ELLS universities with low number of abstracts, to intensify their promotion! I attach a revised PowerPoint presentation and would like to ask you to inform students on your university websites about the extension of the deadline.
We will have 108 slots for presentations (48 oral presentations, 60 posters). So we should have at least 120-130 abstracts in order to make a good selection.

The University of Hohenheim invites students of ELLS member and partner universities to the 8th Scientific Student Conference on "Bio-Based Economy for a Sustainable Future" on 11 - 12 November 2016.

As we were asked by some Subject Area representatives whether we could provide a slide for the promotion of the event in their lectures, I hereby attach a short PowerPoint presentation with the details of the announcement.
