you have to give odsp 30 days notice and you have to give them your new account number

Subject: [odspfireside: 47622 ] Direct Deposit Changing Banks

Hi, I am changing banking to a credit union with no fees. What is the standard way to advise ODSP to change the Direct Deposit banking information?
I am thinking that sending a VOIDed cheque with a letter should do it but want to make sure that they will accept that.
I couldn't find anything on search here or online.
Thanks for the feedback.

I believe that is the best way. They would need the Institution # /
branch # and account # which are on the bottom of the cheque.

Also contact (call) Revenue Canada and give them your new account #,
or they will direct you to an application form online to print out
and fill in, to make the change of acct # legal in the system.
