does anyone know of tens unit pads are coverd by odsp?or
script? ......... Mine are to the point of needing replacement. And as
we all know there is very little money left these days after our daily
living costs.

You could try to get them (tens unit pads) covered under the MSN Benefit -
have your doctor fill it out and put them under "other"
Don't forget that OHIP pays for that form to be completed so you are not
out of pocket any money.
If ODSP will not cover it ask them to send it to Ontario Works for
coverage under Discretionary Funds

What you could try is to get both the support of a Doctor and a physio therapist
saying that you would benefit from these units. (that would mean getting a letter
from both on letterhead and not just a note scribbled on a prescription pad).

Both of the persons would have to go into great detail as to what physically
affects you to the extent of requiring this type of therapy on a regular basis,
as these can be quite costly depending on what you want to get.

Here is the page for Dr. Ho's the Canadian site: http://drhonow.com/order.asp?region=ca

Hope what info I have offered is of benefit.

If you already have the unit, ODSP is obligated to maintain and upkeep the unit.  Getting the unit is half the battle :).  Do you have a physiotherapist?  Ask him/her to write you a letter to ODSP requesting the maintenance of the TENS unit.  Alternatively you could ask your doctor.

I have had the Tens Unit for quite some time and it is very helpful
with the fybro as well as the knotts that form in my back due to the
spine being such a mess and my back compensating for it. I have four
major spinal diseases which is well documented at odsp and I have
asked for very little other than my medications..... I hope they will
cover the pads. I see my doctor Monday . Should I go to the office and
ask for a form of some kind?

Yes, there is a form specifically for this.  Since you do not have time for them to mail it to you go to the office and ask them for a medical request form.  Im not sure thats what its called but explain to them you need assistance with your tens machine and you are seeing the doc on Monday.  I live in northern ontario so the "front line" workers are pretty obliging, but I understand that is not so in the larger communities.  So you may want to go to the google search engine and type in ODSP forms.  There is a website that tells you what forms are for what and what they are called.  Ill see if I can find it for you and post it as a reply.  Good luck.
