You can leave the country, but you have to notify your worker that you are going. If you are going to be gone for all of a month, then you will lose your ODSP for that month. The way it was explained to me (and this was over 10 years ago so it may have changed) is that if you leave on say the 10th of October and return on the 20th of November, you are okay as you were in Ontario for part of both months. However if you leave on the 20th of October and return on the 10th of December you would lose November's payment as you were not in the province for any of that month. Check with your worker to be sure, as like I said, this info was given to me over 10 years ago and the policy may have changed.
