A couple things: sorry for this long email.
CRTC rebate for telephone landline's does everyone know of this and
are we getting anything back or is it January as crtc said they have
until.

This is the best website and Bell things are listed on there -
actually almost all providers of tv and cell and other things are
there for you to rant rave and get resolution help from. I have a good
bell mobility plan just not a good cell phone -its got all features
covered and some unlimited text web etc ..but not a data plan and I
think that is discounted on the plan along with the tv function - ask
me if you wish more information on corporate plans- no I do not work
for them -they would never let me - with the many times I have made
them fix things. My dream wish is to have a blackberry a modern cell
phone with everything on it for the sake of homecare and other sending
me requests it would make life so much easier and for the organizing.
I should try to ask someone to offer an odsp rate if they can offer
teachers a special plan why not odsp canada wide more customers for
them you would think.
The only problem I see with my plan is the DAYTIME minutes they are
200 then they gave me another 200 daytime minutes for each month for
12 months but for some weird reason there is high billing over time
use. I have been with them quite a while but I do call them when Im
bored or babysitting dog walking to ask questions -call it hyper
adhd. Talking to people in the Mississauga office is best not
anywhere else. I ask are you in Mississauga Bell Mobility and try to
get transfered to them if possible. My guess re minutes used up during
daytime: its when I direct dial the office of BELL CANADA "anything"
as in the executive offices 1800 416 what ever to their offices to
complain or negotiate a better deal or justify an over charge for me
or someone else -as in the minutes are swallowed up fast that are free
during the month - never were before- that is making me wonder - what
is causing the over use?
Otherwise I have a corporate plan - everything is unlimited for under
30.00 a month plus tx yes free voice mail call waiting text messages
web picture messages and more - I also had them add the evenings
starting at 6pm to 08am but found out they did a switch without
telling me - and the morning is cut off not at 08am but !! 07am so
that could be the problem right there I will call about and ask that
it be changed back to what was agreed to 0800 am not earlier cutoff of
0700am -if you dont ask you will never know if you could have had
things. I did email or call alot of time - have had many things
credited or corrected and compensated - but it is work as in you have
to have time to sit on the phone or cell phone and talk to them and
justify why the charge or discount should be there and for heavens
sake right notes dates and times and id of who you talk to - do not
loose your nice calm talking tone dont loose your patience or cool.
Pretend you've got nothing else to do - make it a challenge to
yourself to walk or sit with the phone until they take your call and
ask for a supervisor nicely saying you feel you need to get a
surpervisors help - and tell them after 45minutes you'd be fired if
you took this long on your break or lunch to call them -they tend to
connect and realize that does make sense and try to resolve the
problems quicker. Rogers is the same I have the contact name for them
also if anyone does wish it for over billing or problems there.
I do all notes on my computer do not delete them and send them to your
selve in an email that is where I do the notes in email form - then I
copy them to my hotmail or gmail as a backup plan in case the computer
blows up or something .There are times...I ask them to give me the
info confirmation of what changes were made later if Im trying to get
off the phone to tend other functions - of who I spoke to what when
and why how and sometimes I ask how they did the change so well and
others couldnt they tell me sometimes - and I put it all down in my
date book of who what when so I know nothing is missed and they cant
pull a stunt like they did with my mom and not give her 30% off as
promised - on her tv satelite and free renta. They high billed her and
now 2 hrs later talking to the loyalty office gave her 325.00 back
finally after I produced the date time and who what where and why - a
2 hr call but worth it I think.
LONG DISTANCE
www.wordline.ca .....is what I use the long distance is
unlimited day or night talk as long as you want for canada it is its
is best to go to the website and check the price per month but I like
it and you can use the access telephone number from your landline and
cell phone so that is how I make long distance calls all over canada
on my cell phone but after 6pm when my cell phone is allowed unlimited
minutes of talk time.

costs
and date the money comes off your credit card or bank - to use it you
get an access number you dial first to get access to long distance
from your city to any where in Canada - as soon as it starts talking I
dial the number Im calling. I pay 4.95 a month for my mom and I each.
There is unlimited USA ? 13.95 long distance calling from there.So its
great we dont worry about any long distance on any phone now - but you
have to call them if you have any problems right away or email them.
