ODSP Fireside Future

Last week Maggie and I learned that we no longer qualify for ODSP coverage.  

After 8 years we have decided that it is time to retire from running the Fireside groups and to hand over the reins to new owner’s who are still active with ODSP.

It is our wish that the groups continue. If a new owner(s) cannot be found before the end of this month (November 2013) we will dismantle the groups.

ODSP Fireside on Google was opened June 9th 2005 and Fireside Chat on Yahoo was opened August 17th 2005.  Currently ODSP Fireside has 1654 members and Fireside Chat has 274 members.

If you are interested in taking over ownership of either group or both groups please contact us via email As Soon As Possible.

What does it mean when you say dismantle the group? will all the old posts and information here stay so people can use it or will everything be lost?

it would be a real shame to lose everytning. so much good stuff here.

That would be a real loss, aside the steady hand you two have maintained on the group, staying above the silly pettiness that would rise once in a while.

Is it possible to archive the group somehow?

This is a wonderful group, helps many people. Hope it stays running
